There are two options to verify an IBAN with Qombo Sharing:

This endpoint allows you to perform a comprehensive IBAN verification by combining:

Verification of Payee (VoP): checks the consistency between the IBAN and the beneficiary name
FNC-RF screening: verifies whether the IBAN has been reported as potentially fraudulent

Outcome: You obtain both a name match result (Match / Close Match / No Match) and a fraud risk signal, enabling an informed decision before initiating a payment.

This endpoint allows you to check whether an IBAN is present in the FNC-RF database, without performing a name verification.

Focused on fraud detection only
No dependency on beneficiary name data

Outcome: You receive a fraud exposure status indicating whether the IBAN has been reported by another PSP, allowing you to enhance your internal risk controls.
